  A significant evolution
  compared to the traditional Typhon

  You'll be surprised by how thin it is, almost transparent when held up to the light, and lighter than a long-sleeved shirt. Its breathability is also excellent, a significant improvement over previous Typhon models. Even when worn in the rain under tree cover, it kept me comfortable without feeling stuffy. It also has a packable feature, so you can clip it to your harness while climbing and use it as a windbreaker. The versatility to adapt to various mountain activities is another key advantage.

  Even though it's thin and very light, it keeps me warm by protecting me from wind and rain. Plus, it can be stored in a small space anywhere, so I always take it with me to the mountains. I feel safe just carrying it, whether it's windy and chilly even if the weather is good, when departing early in the morning, or when walking in a light rain or over snowfields.

  The sleek, minimalist silhouette prevents flapping, and the soft material doesn't restrict movement, making it very comfortable. The armholes are also narrow, so it fits well when wearing a backpack. What impressed me most was how well it wicks away sweat. Even after sweating a lot, it doesn't feel stuffy at all, and I'm very impressed with its ability to withstand long hours of use.

  Perfect for tough trail running

  Even when running continuously in the rain, it keeps the rain out, prevents stuffiness, and allows me to keep wearing it without worrying about sweating. The Rokko Mountain Range, where I frequently run, has a significant elevation difference of 0m to 931m, leading to drastic temperature changes and making clothing choices difficult. However, even in such conditions, the TYPHON PHANTOM's excellent breathability allows me to keep wearing it. Its high breathability, as per its specifications, protects my body from rain and stuffiness, making it perfectly suited for hard trail running.

  I usually wear this jacket for warmth during ski training in the mountains. Even with intense exercise, it doesn't feel too stuffy, but I make sure to take it off as soon as I feel any dampness inside. Conversely, I put it back on immediately if I feel even a little cold. This lightweight and compact jacket can be easily taken on and off, and pulled out and put away from anywhere, so I always make sure to bring it with me to the mountains.
