• Before washing

  

  • Please follow the care instructions on the garment label for washing. Most items can be machine washed at home.
  • Close all zippers and hook-and-loop fasteners (Velcro, etc.) on the product. If there are noticeable stains, we recommend spot-cleaning them by hand before washing.
• Laundry

  

  • Always use detergent specifically designed for outdoor wear when washing. At that time, please use additive-free detergents that do not contain bleach, fabric softener, fluorescent brighteners, or fragrances.
  • Rinse more times and for longer than usual to ensure no detergent residue remains. Insufficient rinsing can leave detergent in the fabric and reduce its water-repellent performance.
    Do not use a washing machine for spin drying, as it may damage the washing machine. Also, avoid spin drying in a washing machine or wringing out forcefully, as this may damage the membrane (waterproof film).
• Drying

  

  • Unless tumble dry is allowed, reshape and hang dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
• Water repellency restoration

  

  • If you notice a decrease in water repellency after drying, perform care to restore it. (Water repellency refers to the ability to repel water, and in water-repellent garments, water rolls off the outer fabric like beads.) To restore the water repellency of outdoor wear, use a water-repellent agent specifically designed for outdoor wear.
    *Please follow the instructions provided with each water-repellent agent when using it.
• Storage

  

  • After use, please wash the garment and restore its water repellency before storing it. If you store the garment without maintenance after use, dirt may set into the fabric and become difficult to remove. Therefore, we recommend washing and restoring water repellency even for minor stains. Also, storing the garment in a stuff sack or plastic bag may trap moisture and damage the fabric. Please store it on a hanger in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

• Before washing

  

  • Wash according to the washing instructions on the garment.
  • Please use a special down cleaner (using regular synthetic detergent may remove essential oils from the down).
  • For heavily soiled areas, apply a small amount of down cleaner beforehand and scrub with a toothbrush or similar.
• Laundry

  

  • Fill a large tub with lukewarm water (below 30°C) and dissolve the recommended amount of down cleaner. Do not use more detergent than necessary.
  • Close the zippers on your garment, then submerge it in the water and gently hand wash by pressing. When doing so, please proceed carefully as lifting or wringing vigorously can damage the fabric or threads.
  • Afterward, rinse thoroughly to ensure no detergent remains in the garment.
  • To dehydrate, gently press the garment to squeeze out water. Then, fold it, place it in a laundry net, and spin dry in a washing machine for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Keep the spin cycle short, as a longer cycle can cause wrinkles.
• Drying

  

  • Spread a towel in a well-ventilated, shaded area and lay the item flat to dry on top of it. Once some of the moisture has evaporated and the item feels lighter, hang it on a thick hanger in a well-ventilated, shaded area to continue drying.
  • When the surface starts to dry, gently pat the item by hand to redistribute any uneven areas and fluff up the down. Since the down inside is slow to dry, continue to hang the item indoors for another 2-3 days.
  • Once completely dry, hold both ends of the garment and shake it lightly to incorporate plenty of air, which will result in a fluffy finish.
    *If using a household dryer, a low temperature setting is best. Coin-operated dryers can become very hot even on a low setting, so always check the temperature before putting your jacket in. To prevent snagging while drying, close all zippers and buttons before starting the dryer.
• Storage

  

  • Store your down product on a thick hanger or in a large, breathable bag, allowing it to remain uncompressed.
    ※Stuffing it into a small storage space can reduce its loft and insulation, or cause wrinkles. Leaving it in a stuff sack can not only decrease loft but also trap excess moisture, potentially degrading its quality.
    Moisture can lead to mold, so storing it in a well-ventilated area is best. If storing it in a closet, be sure to air it out regularly to prevent humidity buildup.

• Laundry

  

  • Remove any noticeable dirt from the surface using a brush or similar tool.
  • Avoid strong alkaline detergents that may damage the product. Instead, dissolve a detergent for delicate clothing (neutral laundry detergent) or a neutral kitchen detergent in lukewarm water at about 30°C. Dampen a cloth with this detergent solution, wring it out, and dab the surface to remove dirt. For stubborn stains or darkened areas, apply more detergent solution and gently scrub with a toothbrush if necessary.
  • Wipe off any remaining detergent from the surface with a cloth thoroughly wrung out with water. If a lot of detergent remains, rinse the cloth repeatedly and continue wiping.
  • Cleaning dirt inside the pack generally follows the same steps, but be careful not to damage the coating.
    *Please note that some backpacks cannot be submerged in water for washing. Refer to the laundry care instructions sewn inside.
• Drying

  

  • To avoid damage from UV rays, reshape the item and hang it to dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Make sure it is thoroughly dry, as moisture can easily remain in the urethane foam and between overlapping fabric layers.
  • Once dry, applying a water repellent can help prevent stains. At the same time, inspect all parts, such as buckles. Please follow the instructions provided with your chosen water repellent.
