Millet (Millet Mountain Group Japan: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director Per Rasmussen), a leading French alpine brand founded in 1921, has significantly expanded its “PARMELAN” series of backpacks for the 2026 Spring/Summer season. The series is known for its lightweight design, durability, and excellent load stability.

The “PARMELAN” series is a lightweight backpack series that embodies Millet’s “LIGHT & FAST” philosophy.
It achieves a high-level balance of lightness, durability, and fit, supporting speedy and efficient movement.
This season, three new models have been added: the “PARMELAN 45,” which supports long trails and multi-day treks with a tent, featuring a 7L detachable reversible pocket; the “PARMELAN 17,” which is packable and can be used for fast hikes or as an attack pack; and the more compact “PARMELAN BELT.” This expands the lineup to a total of five sizes, allowing users to choose according to their activity time and amount of gear.
The main body uses ripstop nylon combined with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber, achieving both lightness and high tear resistance. Top ladder stabilizers and body-fit straps reduce load sway, providing a stable carrying experience despite its light weight (excluding the 17L model).Furthermore, an S size with a back length of 43cm has been newly added to each size, including the 25L and 35L models (excluding the 17L model). This design fits smaller users and women, accommodating a wider range of body types.
In addition to the expanded capacity range and back length, a new black color has also been introduced. The evolved “PARMELAN” series, which caters to a wider variety of fields and users, will be available at the MILLET official online store and authorized retailers nationwide.
